Catching a wave

A week after Typhoon #9 made landfall nearby this spot, waves still rolled in big.

This was one stop along a three-day motorbike trip through Izu and Fuji. The weather on this day was hot and dry. The water was clear and cold the waves gave the body a good pounding.
